ABOUT US:   Nestled in the beautiful hills of Hambleton, in Tucker County in West Virginia, and not far from scenic Blackwater Falls and Canaan Valley State Parks, Tucker Valley Elementary Middle School opened in the fall of 1995 consolidating the Hamrick Elementary School and Parsons Elementary Middle School.  There are about 600 students in grades Pre K - 8 making TVEMS the largest school in the Tucker County School system.  The staff of TVEMS numbers more than seventy, and includes teachers, paraprofessionals, support personnel and administrators.  TVEMS is a learner focused school offering a diversified and inclusive educational program to assure the success of all students.
